Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JudApps website and any services provided by JudApps ("we", "our", or "us"), a sole trader based in Jersey, Channel Islands.

2. Services

JudApps provides website development, application development, and related digital services. The specific scope, features, deliverables, pricing, and timeline for each project will be defined in a separate written proposal or quotation ("Proposal").

Any work not expressly included in the agreed Proposal is considered outside the scope and will require a new quotation and written approval before commencement.

3. Revisions

Each project includes up to three (3) rounds of revisions. A revision is defined as a reasonable set of changes requested at one time. Additional revisions or changes beyond the included rounds will be quoted separately.

4. Timeline & Client Responsibilities

All project timelines are estimates and depend on timely feedback, approvals, and content provided by you. You agree to:

Provide all required content, materials, and feedback promptly
Review deliverables within a reasonable timeframe

Delays in feedback or content may result in extensions to the project timeline.

5. Payment Terms

The total project fee will be outlined in the Proposal. Our standard payment structure is:

50% deposit payable before work begins
50% balance payable upon project completion and before launch or final delivery

Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue. Any overdue amounts may incur a late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance.

We reserve the right to pause work or withhold launch/delivery until all outstanding payments are received.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel the project at any time by providing written notice. The initial deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.

If the project is terminated early, you agree to pay for all work completed up to the termination date.

We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if you fail to make payments or breach your obligations.

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership Transfer

Ownership of the final website or application deliverables transfers to you only after full payment has been received.

What We Retain

JudApps retains ownership of reusable code, frameworks, templates, and development tools used in the project.

Portfolio Rights

We may display the completed project in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials.

8. Hosting, Domains & Third-Party Services

Domain names and hosting services are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may assist with domain or hosting setup at no additional charge; however, we are not responsible for third-party services, outages, updates, or failures.

9. Support and Maintenance

JudApps provides 14 days of post-launch support for bug fixes related to the original scope of work.

Ongoing maintenance, updates, or additional support beyond this period are not included and must be agreed under a separate maintenance agreement or quoted separately.

10. Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability under these Terms shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the services.

11. Confidentiality

We will keep all information about your business and project confidential. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Existing projects will continue under the terms agreed at project commencement.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jersey, Channel Islands.
